What we collect, and why
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, your business/freelancer choice, and an optional company name. We use these solely to email you about the Just Good Business launch — exactly as the signup form says: “we'll email you about the JGB launch — nothing else”.
Your IP address is used transiently for spam protection and rate limiting only and is never stored with your waitlist record.
Lawful basis
We rely on your consent, evidenced by double opt-in. In plain terms: signing up sends you a confirmation email, and you are only on the list once you click the link in that email. If you never click it, your entry is deleted automatically. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
How long we keep your details
- Unconfirmed entries are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Confirmed entries are kept until launch onboarding completes or you unsubscribe, whichever is first.
Your rights
- Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link — using it deletes your entry immediately.
- You can request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your details by emailing hello@justgoodbusiness.co.uk.
- We make no automated decisions about you.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage, analytics and spam protection.
- Amazon Web Services SES, eu-west-2 (London) — email delivery.
Cookies
We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Our spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) may perform strictly-necessary checks in your browser to tell people apart from bots — these are used for security only. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless.
